My Global Game Jam 2020 entry

Hi!

During the last weekend, January 31st to February 2nd, I've teamed up with Tumeo, a friend gamedev which also develop in Godot, and Arlam, a friend music compositor, and together we joined the Global Game Jam 2020.

I've been participating in Global Game Jams since 2015, making this my 5th GGJ, and I always love to be part of it, especially since you have to gather on a physical site and meet with other gamedevs from the local scene.

I finally understand Autotiles!

I've been working on improving the Godot Sandbox lately and something that I've updated is how the Tilesets work now, taking advantage of the amazing Tileset Editor View Post

Hey hey!

After a lot of work the Godot Sandbox got a complete revamp on how the tilesets work, plus thanks to Mariano Suligoy and the Godot community, we now have access to autotiles!

Most of the new tiles were implemented with autotiling. The previous ones lack a lot of necessary tiles to make an autotiling logic work, so I decided to keep them as Atlases instead.

They are all waaaaay better organized now, there are still a lot to do, and I can't wait to make the next updat...
