2023-03-27 20:01:25 +0000 UTCKind of agree about Cocaine Bear. It's that tame mainstream kind of "crazy" and not nearly schlocky and outrageous enough for that premise. Still, I had an ok time watching it, much better than I expected. I guess my expectations weren't that high going in..... Same with Knock at the Cabin, agree generally, but here I didn't like it that much. Shyamalan is a really good director and his movies are always watchable but the ending and the simplistic 'just have faith' nonsense annoyed the hell out of me....
