Finally, after 12 days without internet access, I'm back to visit my favorite independent filmmakers. I remember the Blip days, where every video you watched was followed by The Care Boars Save Christmas, which is also featured in Gorilla Interrupted. To use a funny line by Detective Cooper: I've never seen a Blip crash like that since the Hindenburg. Also, my Lightning Fast VCR Repair mug arrived lightning fast. Can life be any better? :)

I'd love if you did Moonfall review. Don't know what show you'd do it on...It's not movie enough for Half in the Bag but it's too movie for BOTW. Maybe you need a special Half of the Worst for it.

I (me personally) love the BotW gimmicks. Some of my favorite episodes (Black Spine Jenga, Christmas or Crocs/Cats/Canon, movie cover themes drawn from a bucket etc).

Just to echo some of the other comments, remember RAID is not a backup, make sure someone is checking the health of the NAS at least weekly (don't fail like Linus Tech Tips), and institute a 3-2-1 backup policy.

Just hope you're not using QNAP for NAS, specially consumer grade stuff... You're far better off using FreeNAS. I live in ND, and I can personally can come help if you promise me a few Spotted Cow ;) I can even grill some Churrasco too.

Hey Guys, doing archiving at work myself. Have you considered using an LTO for your long term storage backup. We just got one for our production house. More reliable than drives.

Is there a place where your early Mr. Plinkett reviews of the TNG movies and the Star Wars prequels are up in good quality and each as one long video as opposed to like 8 or 9 ten minute videos all broken up? I know when you guys originally uploaded them to YouTube they made you break them up into 10 minute clips because they didn't allow longer videos, and their compression algorithm made them look like crap online, so I was wondering if there were good quality ones just as one long video each anywhere.

Make sure that NAS server has proper backups - it is probably a large initial dataset but has low delta. I'm sure you have good advisors but be aware of the eggs in a basket scenario.

Kinda wish you guys hadn’t built the NAS. You could have done a collab with Linus Tech Tips and they would have helped you build some ridiculous. Make sure you have enough fans to keep it cool drives put out a lot more heat then you’d expect.

Please RLM stick to the 3:2:1 principle of backups: 3 copies of all videos, 2 of which are on different media (drive, and perhaps blu ray or tape), of which 1 is on different location altogether.

Hard drive backup systems are very boring but extremely important. It took me years to finally have a reliable system in place to prevent data loss in case one of them failed. Glad you have that taken care of, thanks for all of your hard work to keep us entertained 🥳!
