Mayer proudly declares that "[show] business is where the buyer gets nothing for his memory but a memory. What he bought still belongs to the man who sold it," then turns around and cuts the salaries of his employees by half while mustering a fake tear and all. Ars gratia artis? Life imitates art, in this instance, however and WB is transitioning into Netflix's much better business model ( compare the two companies' P/E ratio) at the expense of theaters and co-investors for the films releasing in 2021 on HBO Max.

The man also has impeccable comedic timing. For all of his faults, he's a great actor. Anyway, Greyhound seems like exactly my kind of movie. Like A Bridge Too Far: it's all about the nitty gritty details of how a given event in WWII was done. I love that kind of verisimilitude and seeing something dedicated to all the technical details of war. By the way, you subverted my expectations with the lack of a third spit take.
