Listening to these guys, and Chris Stuckmann, talking about cinemas, I think we have it pretty good here in Australia.

I have experience both ends of the movie theater experience spectrum: the metro DC area and Tokyo, Japan. I prefer the experience out here, although movies are released about 6 months later than in the US. Also you can buy beer, or wine if that's your thing.

I agree with them on how horrible movie theaters are, but they're complaining about the wrong things. Yes, other patrons are often terrible, but that's nothing new. What is new in recent years is the actual projection quality has absolutely bottomed out. Every movie is so dark I can barely make out what's happening most of the time, and no I don't think that's just how they make movies nowadays. Also, about 1 in 10 times I've gone to the theater in the last 5 years, they forget to turn the lights off for the first 20 minutes or so. This never happened in my previous 30 years of seeing movies. Theaters do indeed suck, but the patrons are hardly the worst of it.

Thus still leaving unanswered the question of "does anybody really eat Spam?".

This is a bit off topic, but congrats RLM team on the rollout of the recent Patreon updates. We know it's a lot of work!

When Rich started eating the spam, I was very impressed that he could put it in his mouth so easily. Cooked spam is one thing, but spam straight from the can.... oof

Am I doing something dumb? All your unlocked RLM videos are saying "Sorry Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here." whenever I try playing them

I used to live in the Milwaukee suburbs... I'm curious what horrible theaters they're going to. The Ridge is pretty nice, as is AMC Mayfair and the Majestic in Brookfield.

That's actually the only reason Vimeo is still around, if they went for the "we're a different YouTube" angle they would have died. Instead they went with a sort of high quality uploading site, since YouTube is compressed to absolute shit.

Rich, "Wait, I don't even need to swallow this shit! They'll never notice I spit it out unless they painstakingly skim ALL the B roll!"

The video quality on the Vimeo videos are so much better than on Youtube.
