I'm so sorry about this. This has changed my life. I want to travel back to 1991 and write an angry letter to Paramount about this.

It always throws me that the actor on the left is supposed to be a Romulan ambassador. The context doesn't make sense when you think about the future TNG Romulans. I'm sure there is something that I'm missing. . .

Mike is dragging Star Track producers and I am HERE FOR IT

Release the Plinkett!

Kendel Fargo

never apologize for talking about star trek! also i really hate those outfits

Shappo

I can't believe I never noticed these. I've seen VI so many times!

Jessie Leigh

Bah. two word explanation - modular design. ST6 is great. So glad they bowed out gracefully and stopped making ST movies after this!

KJTB8

My only issue with this fantastic film is that I wish Spock had said the line, 'I'd give real money if he'd shut up.,' instead of McCoy.

In the Wrath of Khan commentary Nicholas Meyer mentions how he finds limitations nourish his creativity so he asked Paramount to give him a lower budget than he needed - apparently the Enterprise bridge was built in pie pieces so it could be taken apart easily and rearranged to create the USS Reliant bridge instead of building 2 different sets

Matt P

I know exactly what you mean. Those outfits are DREADFUL.

SLAMNDAN

I’m glad we could experience this psychological pain with you.

OH MY GOD! I found this article: http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/inconsistencies/reused_ship_interiors.htm Star Trek is all a giant hack fraud of reused sets :O

Ten Foward, the bar/lounge area on the Enterprise D. Where Guinan was most of the time.

I know I'm already giving $15/month, but I will up that to $50/month to get Re-View or rant about this

Andrei M Burke, P.E.

What is seen CANNOT be unseen! They didn't even change the glass Starfleet logos on the door portals :/

help me out here, which TNG set is this?

Force Jay to watch all the Star Trek movies and do re-views but I guess for him it would just be a view...

These are some of the reasons why ST6 doesn't rank as highly in my book as most of the other Original Crew movies. Paramount was pinching pennies going all the way back to ST2, but it was REALLY obvious with ST6. The Klingons (not so much the principals, but the incidental Klingons like the drunk guy on the outpost who talks to Uhura) look like they have beach balls and horns glued to their heads.

jaybird3rd

Oh God, that's the plot of Space Cop 2 isn't it.

JK

I don't understand a damn thing but I'm still laughing.

I'm pretty sure engineering from star trek 6 is taken from tng too

Tomas

I want a director’s cut where the bar is open in the background!

Tomas Jacobi

If I increase my pledge amount can we get a hour long rant video about this?

Daniel Staniforth

For once, this is Mike speaking from the heavens to us, feeble mortals.

Vincent

Time travel to 1991? Well, I think you just found the plot for the next 75 episodes of Half in the Bag. You know, the tragic story of an elderly gay murderer who just want a functional VCR to watch Harry Anderson being unfunny.

Vincent

a small re:view would do, Jay

Brajan Martinović

When you factor in Star Trek: Generations reusing that exploding warbird effect from ST VI it seems to balance itself out.

Joshua Trujillo

Loving this so much this morning.

Well, at least they had the decency to remove the bar chairs and chable.

Dr. Daniel Löb

They did a nice job remodeling it; you really don’t know unless you’re looking for it.

ST6: The Undiscovered Country

Pete Michaelson

Which movie is this? I mean, i get that it's a Star Trek movie, but which one? Is it something fan made?

Žarko Radulović

Ten forward. Engineering. Corridors. Still a great movie though, even on a tight budget.

Andrew F.

I can definitely tell Jay wrote this update. I’m 99.9% sure.

Bill Lehecka

Even with all it’s cheapness, it’s still my third favorite Trek film after 2 and 3.
