Finally got around to seeing Thor. I quite liked it but mostly for the way it took 1970's comic book style, psychedelics, and Technicolor and portrayed them with modern fidelity. Also Taika Waititi's influences can't be missed. I think his sense of humour and talent made this a far better film than it might have been without him. It's nothing special but it's fun and a good way to give Thor a bit more personality.

Couldn't agree more. Completly misleading trailer and a total borefest. Zzzzzzzzzz

I'm as bored with Marvel and Star Wars as much as Rich and Mike are. Neither franchise is adding anything new, just repeating. My local theater is nice with those big comfy seats, yet empty most times. Not much to complain about there! Y'all must be in some rough patches of Milwaukee.

We need more theaters that adhere to the Alamo Draft House rules: talk or use a cell phone during the movie and you get banned from the theater. I drive into San Fran for anything I want to see without people ruining it. Unfortunately it's spoiled me on going to a regular theater. I can't deal with it.

I adored What We Do in the Shadows and liked Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Unfortunately, I have no interest in Thor : Ragnarok. I don't know, to me it seems so meh.

I completely understand Mike. I had my second BR 2049 experience absolutely ruined by a woman who was clearly only there because she wanted to spend time with her SO. She was constantly """"""""""""WHISPERING"""""""""""""""
and the entire fucking time Deckards dog was on screen she was going "Look woofie! Cute woofie!" I wanted to fucking strangle her. Destroy all theaters.

Just saw the Buffy movie on TV and it's awfully cheesy, good choice for best of the worst..there's bound to be more cheesy 80/90s movies that had great sequels or spin offs

Marvel will get weirder once they're past Infinity War.

Jay, you absolutely need to check out Hunt for the Wilderpeople! Personally I think it might be even better than What We Do in the Shadows

So much headroom. Mike has such a big, sad head the shot can barely contain it.

Is Mike turning into an old grandpa who is confused by what is happening on screen and cranky about everything?
