Any chance of some sort of Twin Peaks re:View with the revival starting in a few weeks? I know you guys don't usually do TV shows, but the Twin Peaks box is in the re:View opening credits... and Stranger Things have happened...

It's an interesting contrast between the mob mentality of the Mist and the society found in Starship Troopers. Both sets of people are threatened or feel threatened by bugs: in the former they turn on each other; in the latter, they work together as a utopian society of braindead of national socialists.

Good watch, I never watched the film because I had the ending spoiled for me and thought it was just a cheap way of making a memorable moment that people would talk about, the meaning of it (as described in this episode) is much deeper and more interesting.

Mist was a good pick. Truly an underrated movie that I myself have tried to expose others to. Thanks RLM.

F*cking love re:view. I think it provides great balance and helps to ground the entire portfolio of shows. Plus, you're always reminding me of stuff that I ADORED when i was younger. The Tremors episode made me appreciate that movie all over again. And i met the guy who wrote the musical score, coincidentally, the very next day. Which proves that the universe is looking to RLM for inspiration. :)

Not one reference to Star Trek?! Did Mike suddenly get balls cancer or something like that?
And to counteract the previous post, I love that you found a format to talk about in length about one movie that you like. You used to do that with HitB, but then you focused on recent theatrical releases. But, one thing I would love to see is that one day, in one episode of HitB, you wrap up EVERY single storyline with some bullshit by pretending it was your plan all along.
Also, the genetic material you got for the cloning machine was faulty and could only produce middle-aged men with crippling diabetes. This is why you get to kill a Rich every couple of episodes. They don't live very long.

I like these episodes, but they feel sort of stale in comparison to other formats. I like the RLM group dynamic, which isn't really happening in Re:View. And, compared to HitB, it just feels a bit bloodless when it comes to production. I like the jokes and all, but it's far less fun and interesting to look at. I am pretty sure this is not due to my crippling diabetic retinopathy, so I thought you should know. I get that you have limited resources, but all the other formats have a lot more character to them. Maybe reduce the diabetes pills and the Nerd Coffin subscriptions? I like how you mixed things up with a more recent film, though.

I literally had no issues with this movie since the first time i saw it. None. It all fit together so well, with one of the best acting sequences i've ever seen.
It's a gem and i keep placing it at the top of my horror list. Cause in the end, this movie very neatly explains that the monsters are the people arround us. And it's right
