I'm making a Graphic Mod also for Resident Evil 3 remake where I try to correct the bad contrast present in the PC version especially for users without a good native HDR panel.
Moreover, I used RTGI that makes avery lights source and relative shadows more real , but also adding many more Filmic effects, and better Reflections using also SSR and the "RT Shaders" from Pascal Glitcher. How it works: https://80.lv/articles/ssrtgi-toughes...
In this work I focused more on get a credible Ray Tracing effect both on direct lights and indirect lights ( Global illumination ) Making good use of the "Ambient Occlusion" there are new and detailed shadows around all objects, on zombies and on all the characters.
I've treasure the comments on my last work for RE2 , so I decided to focus more on the technical aspect of Ray tracing, behing respectfull of the devs decisons, so I added Color Grading just to get better and natural colours.
