Behind the Scenes - Belle Character WIP
Added 2024-06-14 11:50:36 +0000 UTCHey all! We've got a work in progress to show you for the upcoming game release later this month (unless things go tits up... which given I'm really stretching myself in terms of coding is always possible).
Just showing off a new feature that we can use now that we're using Ren'Py - animated sprites! We're not going to have as many unique expressions as we have in the past - a direct result of me trying to make a far more progressively changing character (we'll have 3 forms of transformation with 15+ levels of change each, which would make for thousands of simple renders if I did what I have done previously, even on a single expression so this was the compromise).
Hopefully having them animated will make for a good viewing experience! Building the prototype of this thing has been immensely satisfying so far, and I look forward to being able to share it with you all.

Do you intend to add this new feature for future versions of The Pill, or are they exclusive to Bountiful Harvest?
