Disney animation of a classic tale. Beautiful princess Rapunzel has been locked away in a tower since she was captured as a baby by an old hag. Her magical long blonde hair has the power to provide eternal youth, and the evil Gothel uses this power to keep her young. At the age of 18, Rapunzel becomes curious about the outside world, and when a prince uses her tower as a refuge, she asks him to help her escape.

I remember this one! I really hated that Gothel bitch for stealing Rapunzel from them in the first place and trying to brainwash her into thinking the world was nothing but a dangerous place which is true in a sense but not all of it. Also if you remember the movie "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" Rapunzel here definitely has a lot in common with Quasimodo, both of their evil guardians tried to keep them locked up from the world.
