Just the right amount of psycho to portray that possessive, obsessive love. Yandere personalities are not just about the physical restraints or being physically dominant over the one they want. It's not always going to be kidnapping and violence. Personally, I prefer the Yandere that manipulates their partner emotionally and mentally (and ok, maybe physically too). It's so much more ominous and scarier knowing that someone has been watching (READ: STALKING) their lover for a while now and they've had enough patience to wait and bid their time. It's that kind of determination and dedication just so they could strike at the most opportune moment and take what they want that makes this a scarier and darker kind of Yandere. There's something to be said about delayed gratification - watching all of your efforts finally pay off by having the thing that you've been wanting to have right in front of you and within reach. The tone of excitement of finally being able to confront the one you've been watching for and doing everything that you can short of putting them in cuffs and dragging them in the middle of nowhere just so you'd have them with you is perfect. When you started whispering and said please stay [11:03]? Gods, the quiet desperation for the listener is THERE. I felt that. I felt the desperation and the underlying despair if the listener rejects you. I'd say that this is quite the emotional rollercoaster and heck, I'm really not complaining. ILOVEIT. And as I've mentioned, if you're worried about how the rest of YT will react to this, put in the proper tags for stalking, gaslighting, emotional manipulation, conditioning/mind games and other dark themes as you see fit.
