The last 4 days I have spend on looking for the solution for my "tearing clothes during sex" idea.
I tried over ~8 different ways to achieve that, and every one of them not working as intended. Some of them looked great, but it freezes my computer. Some of them just look terrible. And some of them, just caused all sorts of physics bugs.
You can see my best result on the gif above. There's still 2 problems with it:
1) It doesn't look like tearing, more like small explosion.
2) It basically same as in my previous post, but I baked it in .abc format, so it wouldn't break and explode randomly. BUT it caused the loss of all textures and rig on the model. Also it caused some weird black artifacts around titties physics proxies. So it's pretty much unusable in a proper animation project.
And you know what? I just figure out that Cinema4D got a physics update a couple of years ago where I could achieve great cloth tearing effect in just 1 click! And Blender Foundation roadmap doesn't mention any physics engine updates in 2025. MORESO, several years ago Blender had an addon (ClothFX) from some guy that could emulate cloth tearing, but he stopped updating it for over 5 years now and it doesn't work on modern Blender versions at all. And I can't use any models in old Blender. And the creator of this addon ignored my email. Now I understand why no one made such effect in the last couple of years in their animations.
So I wasted 4 full days of work for nothing. My dissapointment is really immeasurable. The only way to achieve my idea of this animation is to wait for proper addon to appear.
I guess I'll do something simplier then. I always feel bad when I force you to wait for so long for a next releases from me, but at least you can see now why it happens.
