Recuperating in a hospital bed, he thought this was his time to apologize to Shepard for not trusting her on Horizon, and to patch up their relationship. However, Shepard had enjoyed watching Kaidan get beat up a bit too much, and invited the same mercs to her Citadel apartment for some fun times.
