Added 2022-11-07 08:38:58 +0000 UTCFinally being able to upload video's directly on Patreon! So much better than sending a link. Anyway this is my speedpaint/progress video on my recent drawing. I find it so satisfying to see for myself & I hope you might learn from it if you want. I think I said this before but don't be discouraged by speedpaint if they look like it's so easy when it's not that easy for you. Reason why I find it so satisfying to watch is because it's like i'm plopploplplop drawing and *results* WOW !! when in reality i'm always looking at references and doing 1000 other things in the meantime. And sometimes I have to delete a whole piece I colored to do it again , so don't give up if you feel frustrated just try it again!

I usually just open a new canvas to drop my references or something similar but that program seems really interesting! It might be something I have to check out for sure. Thanks for the tip hehe

As you say, speedpaints just show the tip of the iceberg because they can not possibly communicate or show those 1000 other things you are doing behind the scenes. Yet, they are stull useful and interesting to see. Do you use any particular tool or program for references such as PureRef or something similar?
