Life Ramble + Content Plan For End Of The Year <3

Hey cuties! I know I haven't been nearly as active this month and I didn't want to leave you hanging any longer, so here's a little ramble about how I've been feeling and my plan for getting back on track starting this week and leading into December.

And if you don't have time to listen, here's the tl:dr:

Basically my mental health has been very poor this month which has made creating and writing feel extremely overwhelming. I've been in therapy for some time for my mental health challenges but I've realized that it hasn't really been helping to improve my mental struggles. I'm now learning that there may be some evidence that I might have OCD and/or PTSD that hasn't been diagnosed properly, which could explain why I've struggled so much to make progress over the last couple years. I've been looking into more resources and literature to help get a better handle on how to get my headspace to a more stable place so I can keep creating while also keeping my head on straight. So thank you all for your patience and understanding as I navigate this stuff! I'm already starting to feel a bit better as I start to become more informed on this stuff for my own sake. I've also been finishing new scripts over the last few days for exclusive audios that I'll be sharing very soon, so stay tuned. <3

What an insightful, vulnerable, intuitive, sensitive post and comments…many thanks to you and everyone commenting for sharing. I know I’m not the only one who seeks refuge from the thoughts and feelings in these audios - replacing those voices with creativity. Thank you so much for everything you do to create your art! Speaking of art, there is a popular self-help book/planner/journal for artists called “The Artist’s Way” that has been guiding artistic professionals in organizing and living a productive artistic life for decades. The RECORD button and the UPLOAD button are just a tiny part of the process and shouldn’t be how you measure your work. It’s also your job to work on yourself just as you are doing. The Artist’s Way can really change your life - highly recommend! I had to shop around for counselors to get proper PTSD care, too, and it’s so frustrating. I finally landed on a counselor who is knowledgeable about high sensory processing (HSP) and certified in EMDR therapy. HSP is a personality trait observed in about 20% of the population of many species that gives them heightened sensory experiences … a double-edged sword that makes the good things even better, but the bad stuff can be more traumatic. EMDR is a highly-successful (I think it has around 85% success rate), short-duration, intensive therapy to treat PTSD. Even if HSP doesn’t apply to you and EMDR wouldn’t be recommended treatment, finding a professional who is experienced with HSP and EMDR might be a good way for you to find a better professional for your needs. Best wishes in your journey!

Have you thought about ADHD? (I have it which is why I'm asking)(If you have already said you have it, my apology I'm really new) It's a scary diagnosis cause of how broadly behavior wise it covers. And Therapists tend to...avoid it unless brought up because of that. It took 7 therapists and a coworker pointing it out for my aunt to get her diagnosis 3 years ago. And Those periods of productivity...are you sure there not rotating hyper-fixation? Followed by depressive burn out?( that shit can last weeks. 😑) Lots of unmedicated or undiagnosed adhds experience it. Just some suggestions...I hope it helps. Also I love your concern for us fans hun. But most of us are probably happy with what ever you can give us. Pls don't stress too hard about it. (As I know your probably going to stress one way or another) I don't know if I can speak for your entire fan base. But I have be a fan of you for like a day and a half. I can say I would prefer you take care of your well-being then worrying about posting regularly. But good on ya for that resolve.
