Cross-hatching is a technique of creating graded shading. It can be used to convey dark mood. The challenge lies in maintaining line consistency -- distance between each stroke and their thickness. Sometimes I do it manually...but cross-hatching brush produces much better results.

2020-01-26 08:05:19 +0000 UTCHonestly I'd love to. I have all the tools (except heavy-weight Bristol paper), including white ink that kinda works as a undo button ;-) But I'd have to spend a lot of time to learn how to do it right - and currently that's the biggest issue.
