Knowing this, Ozymandias knew he had to defeat Gawain quickly, or rather strip his immortality due to the Achilles Authority hitting his heel.

Raising his sword the sky rumbled in thunder and lightning following Ozymandias' command.

Before Gawain could react, dozens of immense lightning bolts fell from the sky on Gawain, who quickly began to deflect.

The Authority of Gawain as Achilles was [Invincible Skin] for being bathed in the River Styx by his mother Thetis who wished to take away her child's mortality, but due to interference from the father of Achilles his heel was not bathed in the River Styx and so did not become immortal.

According to the story Achilles was defeated by the archer Paris who, with the protection of the Sun God Apollo, guided the archer's arrow towards Achilles' heel.

When Achilles was struck, he lost his immortality and became a mortal.

But this Authority though bestowed on Gawain an invincible skin that only held for weapons, swords, axes, arrows and any other weapon could not harm him.

Although elemental attacks worked, the lightning fired could hurt Achilles, but obviously they couldn't defeat him, although they could hurt him the damage was minimal.

But the distraction was what Ozymandias wanted.

Raising his sword Futsu-no-Mitama began to overflow with lightning, as the sword of the God of Lightning Futsu-no-Mitama could turn into lightning and advance against the enemy, but after that this Authority could not be used for two hours.

With a quick throw, Ozymandias launched Futsu-no-Mitama at Gawain like a huge bolt of lightning.

When Gawain's attention turned to the Sun King he saw a huge bolt streak across the distance at impressive speed while having a clear target.

Gawain's heel.

This was something Gawain knew would happen the moment his enemy knew his identity, so he was prepared.

Using his Excalibur Galatine Gawain charged her with the power of the Sun as he prepared to counterattack Gawain saw something that made him fear.

Ozymandias had suddenly appeared behind him, using his Authority [Far-Reach] which he obtained from Hecate that allowed him to teleport through marked locations the Sun King had appeared in Gawain's blind spot.

"The Sword of the Storm God Manifest, Taken from the Evil Serpent and bestowed on the Sun Goddess as a token of peace, Manifest Sword of Kusanagi," sang Ozymandias.

Manifesting in Ozymandias' left hand through flames was a large black katana, its blade glowing as if bathed in sunlight.

The Sword of Kusanagi, known as Kusanagi-No-Tsurugi, the legendary sword obtained by Susanoo and given to Amaterasu, the Japanese Sun Goddess.

Ozymandias swung his sword with a quick, clean stroke toward Gawain's heel.

Given this, the Knight of the Sun was in a precarious situation.

Lightning advancing from the front and Ozymandias from behind, Gawain knew he could not defend himself against them both.

So he did as much as possible for him.

Using his body, which was still invulnerable, Gawain parried the blow with his own flesh and turned, swinging his sword at Ozymandias who was almost at Gawain's heel.

And the blood flew everywhere.

Ozymandias was sent away as he fell to the ground, but he still got up, ignoring his pain, and when he looked at his chest he saw a large cut in him as his blood leaked, it was not something fatal, but something very uncomfortable and that would prevent him from using your powers to the fullest.

But one thing was certain, if he wasn't a Campione he would be dead.

Already looking at Gawain the Sun King saw the knight's precarious state.

Kusanagi's Sword was embedded in his heel as he bled, and Futsu-no-Mitama was embedded in Gawain's arm.

He had lost his immortality.

"To think I was pushed so far," said Gawain, spitting blood as he yanked out the swords embedded in his body.

Even with his left arm crippled, and his heel bruised, Gawain was still on his feet.

Seeing this, Ozymandias prepared to activate his Authority of Ra as [Khephri] to heal himself.

But when he tried to activate Ozymandias he realized he couldn't.

The Sun King's eyes widened as he noticed something that made Gawain's smile widen.

It was noon.

Gawain's solar aura began to increase exponentially as Ozymandias' eyes widened.

"I will now reveal the second power of my armor, usually unnecessary and therefore hidden from most people," said Gawain calmly.

"Do it" said Ozymandias seriously: "We must finish this battle as soon as possible"

"Then the battle will be decided by the power of our last card" Gawain declared solemnly, then smiled, "It was an honor to fight you Demon King, you were a worthy warrior.

"The most fervent, the most loyal, and yet the most failed knight. To serve, to protect, to devote my whole being to the king. I now release the forbidden weapon, the Armor of Bertilak"

While watching Gawain summon his power a great bow appeared in the hands of Ozymandias as he carried a golden arrow that appeared in his hand.

Gawain and Ozymandias were about ten meters away, each carrying their respective weapons.

In his hand, Excalibur Galatine shone like a miniature sun, and yet the brilliance of his blade was nothing compared to what he was wearing.

Bertilak's Armor

The protective light sphere enveloped the knight, and the heat generated by it increased tenfold, Ozymandias' clothes started to burn due to the magical heat that the light sphere was generating.

It was like he was the sun itself.

In that state, Gawain had two advantages.

It had become a miniature sun, and Excalibur Galatine, which could only be used by filling it with sunlight, would be able to send out a blast of energy almost constantly now that Gawain had become the sun itself.

The other advantage was that the sphere of light around his body was like the sun itself, burning whatever came close to the ground.

Gawain raised his sword above his head as every possible solar aura gathered on his blade causing everything around him to be incinerated.

Ozymandias knew that if this attack were triggered, the entire region would be burned, and so he would have to respond at the height to nullify this attack.

Then carrying his arrow in his bow Ozymandias activated the last Authority he would use in this battle.

"Pray, people. That you may escape Rudra's arrows. I pray the god of the far lands who shoot to kill, please grant his mercy. By this arrow, all life will be extinguished! Fathers, mothers, old people and babies . All must kneel before the god of slaughter!"

It was at this point that the two attacks were unleashed.

"Rudra's Arrow"

"Excalibur Galatine"

The arrow jumped from the bow of Ozymandias as if it were something alive, totally annihilating everything that was in front of it, even the air particles were destroyed in its presence

Gawain swung his sword, the flames advancing burning everything in front of him as he slammed into Ozymandias' arrow.

The arrow hit the sword's flames as they both began to fight for territory, the arrow sought to destroy everything while the sword sought to incinerate everything.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Gawain screamed as he poured all of his power into his one stroke, finding Ozymandias' arrow, using all the sun's power stored in his sword to give it a semi-golden glow.

The golden energy of the Sun King's arrow met the last partially golden energy infused into the white and blue blade of Excalibur Galantine.

The two sides clashed, neither side finding weakness in the other.
