Strongest in DxD - Chapter 29

A drop of sweat ran down the forehead of the beautiful Queen of Assyria as she felt the danger of the sword.

Semiramis smiled as he looked at Ren: "Very well, my master" said Semiramis smiling slightly.

Ren smiled minimally as the black sword and [Anti-Magic] disappeared to everyone's surprise.

"So I passed your test?" Ren asked calmly.

Semiramis' eyes widened slightly before her smile widened: "Yes, and very well," said the servant smiling.

Seeing the servants behind Ren, the Knew Queen of Assyria smiled and moved to stand beside them.

"Will it take a long time, master?" asked Jalter as she was tired of waiting.

Ren laughed lightly: "Just one more"

The reincarnated human raised his hand and threw his last card in the air, which was suspended and faded into blue light.

As the letter disappeared, a burst of energy appeared, raising a wave of dust and the silhouette of a woman.

"To think that someone would have the courage to summon me, this world really is full of mestizos" said the woman's voice while emanating an enormous tone of pride and arrogance.

When the dust cleared, a tall woman was revealed, her hair was long and down to her waist and had a golden hue as if it had been made of pure gold. Her face is extremely beautiful and her eyes, red as blood, are visibly not human and give off a mysterious glow that makes people wither. Her body is perfect with golden proportions. And for her body she had several red tattoos, she wore a golden armor for her body.

When Ren's eyes fell on the woman who appeared he couldn't help but be perplexed.

She was basically a female version of the King of Heroes Gilgamesh.

Ren couldn't help but be baffled by this, after all the King of Heroes was a man, not a woman.

Pondering the only plausible explanation that crossed Ren's mind was that it was a version of the King of Heroes from another world, or dimension, where he actually was a woman.

The crimson eyes of the King of Heroes (or perhaps Queen of Heroes?) settled on the man in front of him.

The only thing seen was the slightest squinting of her crimson eyes upon feeling the awesome power she felt coming from the human in front of her, even by servant standards.

"Aren't you going to answer mutt? Really the mestizos of the current world don't know when they are in the presence of a King," she said with her eyes narrowed at Ren.

"It would be wise for you to measure your words as well," Ren said as his pale blue eyes sparkled.

The King of Heroes' eyes sparkled with interest as his own gaze clashed with Ren's and they both refused to look away.

Both seemed to stare so intently that they seemed to be able to see each other's souls.

The moment Gilgamesh's eyes fell on Ren's she realized he wasn't someone normal, her mind knew it was unmistakable, the man in front of her actually possessed an aura worthy of a king.

Obviously not as big as the King of Heroes, but bigger than any she's ever seen.

Even when her eyes met and looked he didn't flinch, he didn't succumb to fear, he didn't look at her in awe, he didn't tilt his head to break eye contact, and he didn't even wilt under her gaze.

He looked at her with the same intensity as her gaze.

How fascinating. Such bravery was a rare thing at this time. Meeting a king and challenging him directly is ridiculous, but still...

She found him even more interesting than before.

The fact that his gaze reminded her of a certain wild man whom she had befriended in her life instantly became one of the factors that made her interest in him smolder vigorously.

A menacing smile parted the lips of the female version of the King of Heroes.

"You have a lot of courage to defy a King, half-breed," the woman said menacingly.

The servants behind Ren, even without knowing what was happening were fully on alert, it was different from Semiramis' threat, the woman in front actually had the power to prove her point.

"Tell me your name, and consider it an honor, for I think you are worthy of being my master," said the woman as she looked on with great interest.

"My name is Ren Katsuo" said the Sekiryuutei while his eyes still didn't retreat.

The woman's eyes sparkled with interest.

"Very well, listen to my name well then, master, I am Gilgamesh the King of Heroes" said the woman openly revealing her name.

Ren can't help but be a little surprised that she shares the same name as his male version, and also calls herself 'King' instead of 'Queen'.

But the tense situation quickly faded when Jalter appeared in front of Ren.

"So are you going to explain what's going on?" asked the Dragon Witch seriously as she stomped her feet on the ground.

Ren sighed, he really would have a lot to explain.

...

...

Soon after, the surprising, summoning of a female version of the King of Heroes, everyone returned to Ren's house.

On the way Ren introduced each other and himself so as not to be awkward, and promised to explain everything.

Currently everyone was in Ren's room.

Scathach was leaning against the wall with her eyes closed as she tapped her spear lightly against his shoulder, but even though she looked relaxed, you could tell she was on the alert.

Okita was already standing behind a sofa as she looked centeredly at Ren as if she were on duty.

Semiramis was sitting on one of the sofas while Gilgamesh was sitting cross-legged on another.

Jeanne and Arturia shared another while they seemed very friendly with each other.

Ren sighed getting everyone's attention as he sat down on a couch and prepared to explain.

"First of all I would like you to understand that we are in a world completely different from yours, you may have already noticed that" Ren said receiving a nod from everyone.

"So that was it?" Semiramis wondered as he thoughtfully put a hand to his chin.

She, as well as the other servants when they arrived in the world after being summoned by Ren, felt an immense amount of power flow through their bodies, not only being the power that Ren transferred to them.

It was the world itself that seemed saturated with magical energy everywhere, even in the air.

An amount of magic so great that it had only existed in the Age of the Gods.

"Exactly. First you must understand the multiverse theory. Multiverse is a term used to describe the hypothetical set of possible universes, including the universe in which we live. Together, these universes comprise everything that exists: the totality of space, time, matter, energy and the laws and physical constants that describe them" explains Ren in detail and slowly so that everyone can absorb and understand.

"In short, they are an infinite number of universes, each different from the others, having their own system and events," Ren said simply to everyone who nodded.

"In your universe, where the Age of the Gods is over, where there are servants and Heroic spirits as well as the Holy Grail War" said Ren to them who nodded in agreement: "This universe is different from yours, the biggest difference is that here the Age of Gods never ended"

Everyone's eyes widened in shock and surprise.

"A world where the Age of Gods continues" said Arturia, surprised and a little shocked.
