One layer
Added 2019-05-08 00:33:59 +0000 UTCI would like to tell you a bit about the way I work, and the two different ways I go about constructing a page. Sometimes, I pencil the whole page out in full. After that, I will trace it with one or more Micron pens. Then I scan the traced image and the rest of the work will be done on the computer in photoshop. In this case, I usually work in one layer only, putting on the color, the shades, and the highlights, creating the different materials. This is the way I produce 99% of my comics pages, for instance. But also a lot of stand-alone drawings.
