✒️Monthly Chitchat - July '25

Hello hello, it is yapping time!✨

Looking back at July, it passed by so quickly. Partially, because I went on a short break, but also because I managed to wrap up some things and feel that nice relief that comes with that.... But I'm getting ahead of myself. First, let's look at what my July schedule was:

💜 Diamond Dive - Pages 16-17-18
The Diamond Dive pages of July were ones I've been looking forward to for many reasons. The first one is that I have come up with the line "I will not tolerate insults from a witch whose highest capability is the sad application of a third-rate youth charm" YEARS AND YEARS AGO hahah~

I can't recall the exact situation anymore, but I'm pretty sure I got the idea while chatting with my girlfriend about the type of tiring guest we imagine the Mom would have to deal with at the Yule Ball. Sure, some people are genuinely only there to wish a peaceful Yule to the leader of their society, but knowing people, there has to be at least one of them who tries to use the occassion for their own benefit. That's when I came up with the idea of a witch who has horrible taste and is completely oblivious to that fact. And what better way to show that than an obvious Youth Charm that she wears as if it was perfectly done, when in reality, it is the weirdest photoshop job ever on a person.

I was also very excited to draw the brother, Max, again. He is such a wild card and can make any scene 10x funnier just by being there. And I LOVED drawing that dramatic outfit for the Mom, hahah~

💜SASS - Update 62-63
62-63 were challenging pages for sure, but then again, all of them are, to be honest. I was super happy to finally reach THE Kelpie scene of S.A.S.S., I've planned this scene months and months ago and was really looking forward to releasing them to you all.

I feel like after 60 updates, I am finally figuring out the exact colour scheme I like to use for S.A.S.S.... I might have to go back and edit some of the earlier pages and add some of these purples and blues to the backgrounds for the final PDF file of the complete comic... We shall see.

I was very happy with how the group shot came out for update 63, I feel like it is a pretty good indicator of my skills slowly getting stronger since the beginning of this project, because I honestly don't think I could have drawn this shot the same way if it was back in Updates 1-10. Practice really does make perfect, huh.

This was also the month where I finally sat down and thumbnailed and planned all the rest of the pages we'll have for S.A.S.S. It was really nice to know I am finally close to wrapping up my first erotic comic. Can't wait to have it all finished and compiled into a pdf document. My long-term goal is to slowly build a whole library of erotic "short" stories specifically about sapphic characters. If only I could up my monthly page output... 😔Maybe one day, with the help of an assistant hahah~

💜 NSFW sketch page (Library Lady)
Something I was very happy about with this sketch page was how many colours I managed to use and still stay simplistic enough to not waste too much time. I am so used to my black lineart that it's a challenge for me to use limited colour palettes, but I think it came out really well on this page. It was also fantastic anatomy practice for me, I was very happy to have the chance to use Morpho's "Fat and skin folds" book I have on my desk.

💜 NSFW sketches - Snow White Project + Mermaid project
While I was on vacay, I decided to share some previews and concept sketches with you all from the 2 main ideas I have for my next NSFW comic after S.A.S.S.

The Snow White idea is a part of a bigger project vision I have, which is to draw a sapphic take on all major fairytales hehe~ I hope that would be something my dear audience would appreciate.

The mermaid one started out as the one for Little Mermaid, but as I played around with concepts in my head, the mermaid in this comic and sketch felt further and further away from the fairytale, so in the end, I decided to present her as just a mermaid, not the little mermaid. For that one, I have a different idea, but it's still very much a baby, so I'll share stuff about it when it's a bit more ahead in the planning process. ^^

💜 NSFW sketch poll for August
To my surprise, the August poll was an absolute landslide win for Muscular Beauties. As soon as I saw the results, my hand reached again for one of my trusty Morpho books, this time, for the one titled "Muscled bodies". But since the sketch page itself is for August, I will tell you about how that process went in the next Monthly Reflection post!

Whew, I started this post thinking to myself "I have no idea what to say about July... I did my work I guess? Shared everything I had to and... hope you liked it lol?" but then in the end I actually had quite a lot to say... Hope it wasn't too long haha~

PS: I'm gonna try and stick to releasing a post like this every month... I'm not listing it yet as a reward because idk if I can keep up with it consistently, but let's trial it for the rest of this year, shall we? ^^
