Do you prefer canon stories or non-canon?

Had  few interesting requests in the comments of the last poll!  I usually keep the Patreon chapters as canon, but occasionally do a non-canon story as a fantasy (ie, The Hostess).  What would you like to see?

Ha! I’ve kept pretty secretive, but I do have speedpaints to share.

Krazy Krow

What If's are fun from time to time. But I love getting to see the "behind the scenes" naughty canon adventure fun more.

Dark Kuno

A mix, so long as it is made apparent which kind of story we're getting at the outset.

Nate Wright Jr.

Combined arms is the superior strategy.

James K

Isn't Dr. U technically an Anti-hero? He's helped Spinny more than he's done evil.

William Davy

That's how Mary Shelley came to write "Frankenstein"--they were a group of friends on a trip together and the weather was horrible, so they stayed inside and told stories.

StLOrca

I'm not really picky.

Jason Moon

I think any non canonical issues could benefit from a framing device, like the daydreaming or alternate universe setup.

Lex of Excel

I love canon stories, but they do limit what you can do/see, so throwing in some non-canon ones could be a lot of fun. Plus, this is a world of crazy powers and superheroes! There are all kinds of ways to explain why we're seeing something that wouldn't happen in the "real" world of Spinny and friends.

I would say don't go to hard with canonical content here, just as that would leave potentially substantial holes for people supporting the Spinnerette series in ways beyond patreon.

SlipperyFrog

Oh yeah, the high school anime AU!

Krazy Krow

What if’s can be fun. I love your off-beat superheroes and villains. Love to see more and maybe an anti-hero.

I agree What-ifs are the best, There's a story where you made a male version of Mecha-maid! It had potential there!

Andre Leitao

What-ifs can be a lot of fun, even for sfw stuff
