How to Applique Scars and other markingsonto fur

1. Cut the shape onto the pattern piece. Leave the pattern uncut, and instead cut out a square around it for easier shaving.
2. Shave the fur using a 7FC pr 10 blade and get to desired length. It may be hard to go back and shave later so try to get it as close aspossible.
3. Cut a square of minky (here I used mochi but any will do!) And pin it onto the top of the fur. Good side up on both.
4. Place your fabric, good side down, backing up, into the sewing machine and sew the shape.
5. Carefully trim away away the excess and trim up the fur.
Then cut out the piece! It's the same process used to make pawpads.
