I've never seen anyone post about this. But by far the cheapest method I have found to create digitigrade padded shapes is using Polyfil stuffing inside bags. Upholstery foam can be very expensive.
What you need:
-Polyfil Stuffing (Id get 2 bags or a box - best deal is at Walmart)
-Plastic Bags, You can use cheap bags on amazon or even bits of trash bags/ recycled material.
-Duct Tape
(optional)-Saran Wrap (here or you can get it at the grocery store)
(optional) Masking Tape
Instructions
1. Stuff a bag with poly fil and tape it closed. You can use cheap bags on amazon or even bits of trash bags/ recycled material.

2. Place it where you want it on the body. Add/ subtract polyfil as desired.

3. Use tape to kind of sculpt it how you want. This takes practice so try not to get frustrated and be patient with yourself!

4. After you have the whole thing taped up in duct tape, be sure to go over with a thin layer seran wrap and then another layer of tape. I use masking tape.
