If you interpret that literally we see that modern day israel isn't God's chosen people, but israel itself. The people of the Most High. The covenant made with moses on mount Sinai is the foundation for this idea. Those who reject Yshua as the messiah aren't his people, but are of the children of hagar (or those born into bondage and slavery) We can clearly see that Israel as we know it, has been at war for almost 100 years in modern times. Im not totally convinced but it does seem safe to say that The Most High has little support with modern day Israel. We are the children of Sarah, jew and gentile alike. Those who believe in Yshua are the children of Sarah/Grace who will occupy and make up the New Jerusualem you mentioned coming down from the heavens. Our loyalty isn't to a plot of land, it is to the Messiah our Salvation. Israel as a people were once, entirely under the protection of heaven, now I'd venture to say the heavenly narrative is quite different.

Growing up in the 90s I was taught that the firmament most likely was part of the waters the fell to the earth and flooded it along with the waters of the deep which implied the firmament was no more after the flood

2025-07-01 14:43:17 +0000 UTCSam write a history curriculum for home schooled kids i will teach it after public school to my kids so they can go to school and challenge the teachers politely. my son is autistic and whatever I tell him he tells everyone super loud and unapologetically like telling kids there is no santa or tooth fairy and that bunnies don't lay eggs. Sam said the easy verses simple thing the last time he was here and i made it into a Sunday lesson for my kids and it really helped them understand why getting what you want right now can ruin what you really need later. We have property here in Myakka city that is just woods on the river. like 6 and half acres. we are going to sell soon.
