2025-01-16 23:28:49 +0000 UTCI had my 3rd and 4th kids at home too. For all my kids, i asked for my placenta to take home and they gave it to me no problem. I planned on using the placentas as fertilizer for trees we’d plant on our property in honor of each child we had. Problem is, we’ve moved so many times since our first was born 7 years ago, so I now have 4 placentas just sitting in freezer bags in our deep freezers 😂🙈 Kinda funny & 100% creepy. Hopefully we’ll be able to plant them with some trees soon 😂🙈🌳

I had seen too many documentaries about the rise in cesarean section being performed (and that was 10 years ago!) . And if that wasn’t crunchy enough info for you, I Actually had my placenta dried and encapsulated so I can take it in pill form. (It helps with regulating hormones and postpartum depression.) The comedian, Jim Gaffigan, does a funny bit about homebirth. 😂 “…your wife didn’t want to give birth in a gown someone died in yesterday?!”
