Marth Mk 2 (Fire Emblem: Awakening)

I know I said I was gonna be updating old cards, but you have to understand okay. Like, how could I not make Marth?! He's the Fire Emblem guy! He's such a shoe in that I, as the Fire Emblem guy-who-makes-fire-emblem-stuff, just had to make him. It's like fate, destiny even. It's unescapable. What choice did I have? Well, at least you have several choices you can choose. His 2nd outfit (As depicted in the first slide.) is his masked alt, while his 1st outfit is his long haired one. Yeah, Marth got a long haired alt.

Okay okay real talk real talk, so not too long ago not only did I reach my 20$ goal up on Patreon, but I somehow got 2K+ followers on Pixiv! So I figured, hey, what better way to celebrate this milestone by rereleasing my very first card posted on here. Now then, how exactly did I update Lucina?

First things first, once again I'd like to thank Razor for providing the Spring Alt (Slide 2) and Tactician Alt (S5) outfits! I did tweak a few things here n' there to better suit her, but overall he did the heavy lifting. Thanks to the new mods, she is now equipped with the actual Falchion, a proper tiara, and her outfit which I think is ripped directly from Warriors? Iunno, never played that but point is, it's a lot more accurate now. I don't think Masked Marth existed in that game so I had to make do with smashing together a butterfly mask and Rider's (Fate) mask together. Now, there's something missing here, isn't there? 

Ayup, while there is a Lucina hair mod that may be ripped from the games, unfortunately it doesn't scale very well. Like, I wanted to make her hair really long but then the model gets all screwy. Not to mention it just didn't mesh all too well with her. Like, to me it seemed pretty anemic so I tossed it out and remade her hair from scratch. 

I don't recall what I based the original on, but this redesign is a fusion between her Brave alt and her Archer alt. Specifically, her hair is based on her Brave alt while her face takes after her GA one. I like Kozaki's artstyle, but I wanted to do something different.

On the flipside, her Masked Marth (S1) look is all Kozaki. It's not based off of her recent swimsuit alt as I found out about that late in her development. If you do want that variant tho, this guy's got you covered. https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/82385168

Her modern look (S9) has been updated slightly, for starters she no longer has gloves. Why I gave her those is a mystery to us all as she doesn't even have that in her OG artwork. 

Her yukata (S4) now has her brand/logo on it instead of stars.

Her swimsuit (S5) is still based off of her Cipher artwork, but admittedly it's a wee bit jank. Not too happy about it, but it works.
