Fortnightly Progress - 19th May

• No Haven

I must must stop mentioning time frames as it seems like everytime I do a disaster happens, be it external or just in my head. 

In this case it's that the Arrogance Storyline extention is still broken right now and I'm finding it seriously hard to unbreak it. I also don't want to just cut it for now as the patrons who funded have been waiting way too long to put it lightly and I really want to make this the last hotfix so it can also be the public release. 

So this time I'm just going to say that I'm working to get it as soon as possible, and see if that helps me push through this mess of my own making. 

Accentuating the positives the Emmissary stuff is done, and honnestly I like what I've done more than the first try I mentioned last time. Now you can pick an assignment type focus via General Orders for your Emmissary which can earn buffs, specific assignments of that type, and improvements to rewards.

It's also led to some changes to Scouting where now Emmissary prefference will help or hinder your odds on that like Guard prefference does on Watchtower. I've also rewritten all five of the Scouting intros to be a lot more fleshed out.   

• The No Haven Conversion / Picarto Streams

As you can guess with the hotfix running late streams are again taking a backseat which upsets me enough as it is without considering what anyone else might think about it. 

Again accentuating the positives the Eurovision stream did happen and it went fantastically well. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it, we got one country managing to be lewd enough to make up for the lack of HMV's and I even made some actual progress on the conversion during the four hours plus stream. 

• Commissions

January+February - They Choose You + A Taste of Glory : Woo and indeed hoo! The Taste of Glory artist has got back their own issues (alas ones I'm personally far too familiar with in myself so very easy to be understanding) and I've seen a really neat sketch for it. I've also at last managed down to pin down someone to take on They Choose You and they're a new artist who I'm really excited to see what they do with it. 

March - Sudden Betrayal : No progress since last time.

As for the commission poll I'll just quote the tweet I made about it when it finished cause dang, that was a thing:

Wow, didn't see that coming. Checking on this for the Fortnightly on Thursday it was a two way tie between Barbarous and the Scare Crow crew.  

 Turns out the eventual winner was... neither of them. Thanks to an extra vote at the $25 tier the Main poll got their choices after all

Those being Hot Seat, Standard Trading, and Decadence. 

All three are confirmed and got to the point where I've seen sketches from already. Amusingly, to me if no one else, I got the sketch for Hot Seat from another different new artist before I got the one for They Choose You which should give you some of a clue how much of a headache that one has been to pin down.
