Discord Assignment the 4th - Week 3

Once again I can sit back and let the patrons running this have their say. Well, least I can when I've set the poll up, and typed out this vague attempt at being amusing additional bit at the beginning here :D

After two weeks of accepting suggestions, the harvest has come in! Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their ideas - now, however, it is time for them to COMPETE! For the next week we will all be voting on our favourites, and the top three will move on to the next stage, where we can polish the prompts into a more worked-out state…
And then they shall do battle once more!
But before all that, we need to know which prompts you all love the most. Vote on as many as you want (This time…..), and perhaps we will know in a week!

Now onto the collated entries:

You've not slept for 4 days.

You are getting more and more erratic. You are making mistakes. People have started noticing, talking. But they don't know. They don't know what you see when you close your eyes. You heard about a fixer in the forest. You gotta go soon.

You've not slept for 5 days.

There's a place in the forest, hidden and secluded. A place of the Old Fey. It sits on the Faultline twixt Dream and Reality, an immaterial place in a material world. It is said that in this place, anything is possible. It is said that If you dream it here, it can be brought over to our side. Just beware of nightmares and hidden desires.

You go to investigate a lead for a merchant's stash in the woods (this part is not relevant, point is you're going to the woods for something), and come across a strange carriage service

Said service seems normal at first, but then things go full Classic Willy Wonka Tunnel Ride for a bit, then plot happens, and you wake up an unknown amount of time later in an old, decaying cart

Not all amazons shun the forest goblins. Sure, they may say they do, but some also quietly appreciate that the supposed derranged nuisances can do things with herbs, moulds, and various mushrooms that the amazons haven't the first clue about  to get the best results. Such amazons are generally more inclined to lie down somewhere, and look at the pretty colours rather than work themselves up into a frenzied rampage like a forest goblin might. Unfortunately these amazons brought from the wrong goblin who was less than concerned about harvesting his supply from far too close to some decidedly odd strange glowy rocks. Now these amazons aren't waking up at all, and their entirely corrupted and increasingly perverse dreams are taking on a whole new life of their own.

Someone got the bright idea to try and make a village in the big spooky trees and not be an elf at the same time Something something blight gets involved, maybe they cracked open a tomb of the nekodancer, maybe they started squatting in a whorelock's testing site, who knows Regardless, they've been put to sleep for the blightification process to go underway. The process hits different from person to person, which should open up some success/fail/crit/disaster options

There is a garden in the Ever Forest - overgrown, flowerbeds and statues, to a strange enchantment of decaying beauty tended by no hand under mortal moon or sun. We call it the Garden of the Sleepers, a name that can be traced over towers of crumbling tomes to the elves - though to them the words are of sorrows innumerable and longing beyond reckoning. It's no mythical land - it's all too easy to find to a seeker - it wants to be found in the Forest. It wants more and more to join the beauties in its bowers of rose and thorn, of lilac and fallen leaf; to join the sleepers as they lie, in ageless bliss and forgetfulness. So let's go there and grab a slut.

The Ever Forest hides many precious things, but sometimes the deep thickets reveal something special. One such treasure was only found recently, and yet it already has been causing waves in the Empire.

A very precious spice that, as far as people are aware, is only cultivated by a secluded group of fae in their own little court. A spice that promises the longest, deepest dreams - and the rumours of those partaking rising in their slumber like some debauched, possessed sleepwalkers hasn't done anything to make it less desired. A spice so desired, in fact, that some nobles would pay royally for mere pinches to experience that blissful dream again...

If you can find the fae, surely they will have some to spare - but will the price be worth it...?

There's a festival going on in an old farm town deep in the forest. Have fun, see the sights, maybe see the concert with 3 totally real™️ rocker goth vampire chicks (who definitely aren't 3 different flavors of elf)! There's an otherwise normal looking human author in town who seeks inspiration for their next book. Maybe you could find them a muse or an object to help them out? They sure seem nice and soothing, and very persuasive... The festival seems to revolve around the town's freedom from an old evil witch, who swore she'd cursed the town upon her death! Surely it's all just superstitious conjecture, right? Some people recently dug up a large old leather tome in the town square, but no one can seem to open it. What secrets does it hold, and why does it seem to look different to you in the pale moonlight?

A notable (wood elf? forest goblin? horned one?) is too powerful and singleminded to take down. But what if, your shadowy client asks, someone could do something about that? Obviously, storming their (mansion? village? encampment?) is too risky. Instead, why not try something more...subtle. Through magic, it is possible to alter dreams, making the intended target slip deeper into a sensual haze or trap them in a pulse-pounding nightmare. Make them more suggestible, or less confident, or just distract them while someone loots their home while they sleep.

tl;dr Inception but porn

Travelers and merchants keep falling asleep in a certain portion of the Ever Forest, waking up missing clothes and anything remotely shiny. And occasionally with new tattoos or being oddly wet.
