Fortnightly Progress - 21st January

As those on the twitter or discord know full well, or might have suspected by it's conspicuous lack of existence to date this hotfix has been a complete and utter git to nail down. Not helped by some minor health issues which really didn't help my productivity and mood. Then compared to not one, not two, but three of the artists I've currently got commissions outstanding with are going though I'd hardly count it as a minor boo-boo so really can't complain on that front.

Bunch of bugs I just could not wrap my head round, and each time it seemed like there was light at the end of the tunnel it turned out to be another oncoming train in yet more bugs. I'm exaggerating somewhat for comedic effect, but yeah not been ideal. 

However!

It does seem like I've turned a corner and I'm feeling a lot more optimistic about well everything. I've not yet finished a full run of all three parts of Thornspire without issues, but I think I'm pretty close. I've also solved the thorny get a character from Ensnared Rose letter that ended up merging the character with another problems. The special assignment mentioned in the hotfix has also been completely sorted I believe from the myriad, myriad issues that were plaguing that one beyond not being able to select anyone to go on it.

So while I won't put an exact time on it as that bitten in me in the butt before I'm also reasonably confident it won't be long now at all. Definitely hope so as the sooner I can get onto the next update to follow the plan laid out in that post here at the end of last year the better. 

• No Haven

One positive with this delay is while sorting the issues is I've also been polishing up the text for that special assignment and for the final part of Thornspire. I'm actually kinda glad you never got to see the first iterations as  didn't think they were much cop in the slightest. Hell, not sure they were better than some of my first assignments which were a couple of lines at most. Now though that's very much not the case and I've ramped them up a lot from where they were. Hope you like em too when you get to play them. 

I also decided that of the two options at the end of Thornspire one option was disportionately better so now both will have special Encampment Upgrades. 

• The No Haven Conversion / Picarto Streams

Yay, I managed to do a full ten hours in a week. 

Less yay, they then fell off a cliff again with the hotfix issues. 

Really want to sort that out when that's done as it's rather stalled out the conversion.

• Commissions

September/October Commission Poll - Custom Orders aka The Horny Pair: Should be done soon based on an email I got a couple of weeks back. 

November - Asanei Duellist: Been delayed so maybe around end of January. 

November/December Commission Poll: Sky-Shaman has had the base colours done and is looking wonderfully moody. I'd be amazed if it's not the next done commission in terms of progress. Still need to arrange Word. Will sort that when hotfix is out due to the complexity of the pitch. 

The Veil: First part is mostly done and it's so dang good in terms of atmosphere. 

Next Murr one:  As some of these are pretty much entirely done I might as well talk about this one I'm getting from them as a bonus. Idea is to knock out a bunch of examines/portraits at once for a certain race for both genders, and to give a hint it will also involve Demi-Angel/Fallen/Succubus versions for a race that doesn't currently have them.

Next Mephiscrypie one: I've been holding off until all three parts are done but I've currently got one of those 'patron funded, managed by me' commissions going on with them. First two parts are done and are legit great if you ask me. Did share them on the discord and the response there was pretty gushing too. They're also on their HF page and their twitter. Won't link them directly here on a public post, but I'm sure you can find them easily enough though the links on my pixiv/twitter.

The poll for January still has just under week to go and yeah this isn't a fight it's an execution with the marshlands lamia currently cruising to the win. Will a late surge of depraved loyalists give the Savage Orc and her Profane ritual a chance? Nah, probably not but it'd amuse me if nothing else. 

In a different kind of commission definitely needed a morale boost with how the hotfix was going so got another one of my old captions voiced by senpai_babe. You can find it on my twitter and I really like how it turned out.
