Fortnightly Progress - 5th March

• No Haven

Attempting to eliminate catch up this year so as the last update came out on the 10th that's when I'm aiming to get the next update out or as close as I can get to it. Then an update a month after when that comes out and so on. Of course if I can get it out earlier than that in upcoming months to get back closer to the end of the month then I doubt anyone will complain :)

Currently working on an assignment which will be a follow up to Quick as You Like. 

Some of you might have noticed that after the tumblr/twitter public release I didn't make the usual other releases I normally do for this update. 

Reason was that after remarkably few bugs being mentioned initially it turned out they were just being sneaky little gits as a veritable deluge started getting reported. Fixed all of them now, but didn't really fancy doing another hotfix when I was already so deep into the next update already so they'll now just be sorted for that one. 

• The No Haven Conversion

Did another ten hour stream allowing me to do some real damage to the passage linking. Went from about half done to like 95% done. 

Up next is going to likely be far the most 'entertaining' thing to do. Now I was able to initially preserve the condition structure this time... at least mostly cause I know there has to have been at least a few cock ups during the conversion process so far. 

However adding all these new passages has likely broken a great deal of that condition structure so I need to check all of these and fix them. Got some ideas on that to help track them down so hopefully it'd shouldn't be that bad. 

After that at last maybe I can actually get this thing into Twine proper and see what the real damage is. 

• Commissions

September+October - Encampment: It's done!  As it was a concern for me if not everyone else I think I've solved the seeing it every night issue I mentioned while posting it. Now it will be used on finish day to show up randomly along with the title page, the blank background, your character's examine, and the map. It also will be replaced if there's an assignment completing or a slave is being used. In future I'd like to also get some other encampment scenes with different races and genders. 

November+December - To Hunt a Paladin: ...oops. So I may have ended up getting the first part that got posted deleted on HF. Really not my intent, and just check my twitter where I said to go give Awasof some love for doing such a good job to see that wasn't the case. For the second part apparently I should be seeing a sketch over the weekend. 

January - Raid Human Village: Also done!

Bonus Commission: This one ended up being Raid Goblin Village and didn't Nyuunzi do a great job. Got some decent exposure too out of it I think as I definitely got a few more twitter followers in the days afterwards which is also lovely. Miiiight be a follow up sometime, as apparently there was quite a bit of deman for one. Will see what happens. 

January+February - Basic/Advanced Maid Training + Deep Mountains Forest Goblin Assignment: Emailed both artists today. Crazily adding all the polls together with the extra weighting this beat out the human northerner three parter by a single vote!  

Part Patron Funded Me Managed Bonus Commission: In progress and looking great. Wasn't planning to do the specific new advanced race content involved here originally for a very long while as I felt a lot of other content should be done first. However as the chance came up with the funding assistance for them specifically looks like they'll be coming a sooner than I had penciled them in for.

Patron Funded Me Managed Bonus Commission: A big and very promising one has been arranged for April. Definitely one to look forward to.

Mavezar: They're making good progress through their backlog and have confirmed that I'll be getting one off them in April which is fantastic news. 

Next commission poll will be up on here tomorrow. Doing something a bit different. Before you panic about that I've run it by the discord and on a picarto stream and got buy in first about what it would involve.
