After the Footwork Arrows disappointment, Porsche were keen to rebuild their reputation in F1 and they did, with the partnership enjoying much success, winning championships with Mika Hakkinen.

Nowadays, Porsche own a stake in the team, and many Porsche partners are onboard.

With brands such as Gulf and TAG Heuer heavily involved, providing title sponsorships, you get to choose what livery/suits Mclaren run for their Porsche partnership.
