Loopbreaker book 2 Finished!

I finished book 2 of Loopbreaker.
73 chapters - so you've got a long time before it finishes.
Plotting out book 3 more than my original outline. REALLY excited for the end of book 2 (haha the 3 people who have finished it are all dying cuz they gota wait for more chapters). Really hoping you enjoy the direction of the story.
I'll be doing some editing - So if there's stuff you think needs to be changed / fixed / updated - by all means - tell me. I'm going to take a week and then go back and look at those early chapter and try to see if I can't fix or help some of the potential 'slowness' some mentioned.
If you want- feel free to comment in this post on stuff you're thinking needs to be looked at.

So - unlike some loopers - the problem I've tried to still channel (and it changes near end of book 2) is that Francis is young and he can only 'last' so long with the mindless grinding. Get a skill that he wants - cool - lets go try it out. Close to another? - ok I can grind a little more. His real focus is - can i beat anyone and can I save XXX now book 2 without spoiling has some solid progression at the end for a big part of the story and then also hints at how big stuff's going to get in the rest of the series. The fun part - Book 3 & 4 are going to amp up the 'well hell... now i gota grind more' We'll also learn something about the 4 nations which makes sense only when one learns about them (Francis - not those in higher circles who already know). If everything goes how I want and builds how I want, I think book 4's going to be a blast and sets up for the stuff after. Book 2 was also almost 200k words and I want to keep that same thickness as I think the story needs depth and more. One of the things looking back at UL1 is that I missed out on so much possible stuff to share and write - had I known how to: A - write world building stuff B - write more stuff outside the dungeon / tower C - how much it can add to the story. So i'm trying to do that with new stuff. When I wrote book 1 of my viking series (in 16 days straight) - I had noooo world building. it was all gas. Then I had to go back and add 15k+ words to add the stuff it needed. Definitely learning how to write better, and as I move through year 2 of my writing career, I'm looking to always trying to get better.

2025-11-29 14:37:09 +0000 UTCI’ve been wondering if he ever plans on breaking the mold like the boxing arc, if you do nearly the exact same thing each loop he’ll make slower progress. His biggest gains seem to be when he goes off script. Like the boxing, and academy loops. Why wouldn’t he take advantage of the extreme training with kel every loop, try the stat gaining potions stenson talked about, or pick up neglected skills like stealth, tracking, and knife throwing or some other medium distance skill? He’s also never tried to go around behind enemy lines. He always just walks into the army.
