Midweek update

I appreciate the prayers. Wife is doing good. In some pain (which is to be expected with neck surgery).

Nerve is already showing signs of improvement and her hand which was impacted by the problem is already a little stronger. Downside is nerve is 'firing' which is sending pain radiating the length of the arm but that should eventually stop after a while.

Update on UL1 -

I know some of you are like 'arggg slice of life'

Trust me - I'm an action writer and I know I've got a little bit (ok.. a lot more) slice of life in this book than I would normally have. Trust me when I saw everything is leading up to certain conflicts / developments / character stuff / etc.

I think the 24th is the next chapter with a little bit of fighting.

Book 8 picks up on that fighting side from the start, but know where everything really starts to get going will be book 9.

These last 3 books were ones I knew would be different (book 7 is 50k words longer than usual and a big chunk of that is system stuff / life stuff / etc). Book 8 has gotten good reviews from the beta readers and I'm editing that while working on book 9 when I can (wife first / book 9 second).

Please don't think for a moment that I forgot what I promised at the start of UL1. Max's power and development as he grows stronger is a bit different than some in this genre. He has a team and that means a little bit of them.

Thank you again for the support and I think Monday my wife is hoping to do 1/2 a day at work which will give me a little bit of time to get back on the writing wagon. After getting 50k done last week, I'm chomping at the bit to get back to it.
