Weekly Update - Happy Thanksgiving

It’s a holiday week in the US, which means all 6 kids are home.

I’m off and on - (mainly off this week), as we do the holiday stuff.

Going to try and drop some beta chapters of the rewrite of my daughters story (The girl who killed a god). Getting a little more time with her and so wanting to make sure its as good as possible.

Goal is to write better. One of the hardest lessons I am learning is changing how I fhink while writing as well as the editing side when going back.

Last year I blazed forward, all gas, no brakes. While putting out 2 million words from june 23 to aug 24 was great in some ways, I see now the importance of slowing down and editing.

Looking back, I see many of the problems with lots of things I wrote (maturity/learning/etc). Reading and listening to other stories I think are well done as I try to hone this craft.
