Weekly Book update

Hey all and welcome to the new folks!

It's been a crazy week already and last week I was at author nation in Las Vegas. Originally I hadn't planned on going but after a lot of people much bigger than me and a few publishers telling me I should, I went.

Lots of cool stuff lined up for 2025 and I'm excited to be on this crazy journey they call writing.

Story Stuff:

UL1 - So right now I'm almost 90k into book 7 which sounds like a lot but let me preface this by saying... eh... Book 7 will be longer than any of the other books. Trust me - It's going to be a whirlwind and if you thought from book 5 to 6 was a shift, the change from 6 to 7 is just as different.

Thankfully those who are reading it say its good, they like the shift and I'm hoping that carries across everyone else. We got LOTS to get done, told and consumed before I finish book 9 and I'm enjoying the process of getting there.

Book 6 ends Christmas day! (December 25th). Book 4 audio hits 12/24.

I'll take that week off and then January 6th I'll launch UL1 book 7 here.

Book 6 will hit amazon on the 20th of January. I'm not 100% sure the date publisher has set for book 7th on Amazon but I think its end of March or April 1st (and that's no joke).

Viking Story

I'm coming back - just trying to make it through holidays and all. Book 2 is in edits (dev edits are done, some changes were made). Not sure on when it hits amazon as they have the audio to do as well. Once I get chapters going again, I'll start dropping them again.

Time Loop Story

Got some edits/feedback from an editor I was trying out on the first 50k. Goal is to start getting a few more chapters done in December. Goal is to hopefully launch February on Royal Road (and thus more here). I think I'm looking at 4 books on this one.

The Girl Who Killed a God (New Title Coming)

This is a story my daughter and I did together and it's currently in its final edits. It will be published next year but its a long process, adding world building, changing up a few things, more character depth and etc. I may relaunch this on RR and here before I send it to amazon for publication. This is one of those things I'm taking longer than expected as life and time is limited but daughter is wanting it to be done because she is ready to start book 2 (which I wont do until book 1 is finished). Excited to see what people think. I'll drop the 'new' chapter 1 for the story in coming days just to kind of show a difference in how its changing.

Other works 

Dragon Rider - Podium Wants me to do books 4/5 now. Time... time is my weakness. You might have seen / caught / remember the breadcrumbs I sprinkled in book 2 about the future stories. I just need time to write 400k words... and then you can enjoy them. (Anyone got a time pausing device?)

Goblin Story - I'm surprised the number of people who keep asking me to write book 2 of this. I've got a good section of it plotted, again... time.. that darn time element.

A Co-Written Story - I cowrote a book with someone under a different pen name. It's in dev edits and I try to give it a fair shake of time also as I agreed to it. It's not one I can share here as we share it and I took on this task in order to learn to write better. The author I'm working with has a fantastic way of making worlds pop, bringing out character voices and the relationship aspects of characters. One of the reasons I did this was to learn from them and then hopefully apply to my own writing. Really a way of me leveling up.

System Apoc - You're like wth? You're writing one of these? Not yet but next year. I had been in discussions for a while with another publisher and they want me to write something for them. This is what it will be. Sometime next year I'll be doing this one. Just a small teaser of one thing I've been plotting for down the road.
