Update for Game and Mac users
Added 2019-04-02 13:52:10 +0000 UTCAfter intensive searching around the net.
There seems to be lots of problems when it comes to deploying the game from a Windows computer to a Mac. And what's worse, errors can differ from Mac to Mac.
It seems this is a Apple's issue and not the game itself.
I'm currently trying to find a fix for this. (It would be easier if I had a Mac to deploy my game but unfortunately I don't owe one).
At this point it's better for Mac users to deploy Bootcamp/Wine and run it from there. But I don't know if this is an efficient way to play just 1 game.
So far I have the following solution but I'm not sure if this works for all Mac's here's the list:
-------------------------------------------------------------
If Mac users are playing this game, please unzip the file, move the game application to hard drive before playing.
Any errors such as 'Error: EROFS: read-only file system' comes up, this just indicated that the game file needs permission to read and write.
To fix this, please try and do the following:
If strange errors still persist, you'll need the “Game.app” to run through MacOS system preferences > security settings for an unidentified developer app run permissions.
If unable to save or change option preferences:
Right click on the game and choose show contents, then go to the file MacOS, click on the thing called nwjs and your game will pop up along with another window, but you should be able to save this time.
If things still persist try the following:
1.) Navigate to the game.exe file.
2.) Right click the file, and select "Show Info"
3.) Open the "permissions" section
4.) Adjust the settings for it to be able to both write and read files.
-------------------------------------------
If the solution listed above does not work then I may consider not deploying for Mac anymore.
