Essentials Trees, Bushes, Edges and Mazes

I’ve just added a new set of trees and bushes to the Essentials drive, under the Wilderness folder. This set includes 3 trees and 9 bushes. All files will print support free though they will need a little cleanup on the underside to remove some stray extrusions - I usually give them a quick scrub with an old toothbrush to clear most of it up.

A Maze ing

So I started working on some zBrush brushes to do the bushes and trees... thought, "ohh this would make a nice box hedge for a maze". Fast forward a few days and we have 43 new files of hedges to create mazes for the Essentials Wilderness set.

I'll do a little build with these tomorrow and add the trees and wild bushes that I need for part of one of the outdoor tiles coming up. You'll find the new files in Essentials - Wilderness\Hedge

The next couple of days I'm working on some trees and bushes to go into the Essentials - Wilderness folder along with updating the rest of the single Dungeon floor tiles to the latest clip hole - Just a slight cosmetic tweak to bring them in line with the newer pieces.

Brutal Legion Arena Dice Tower

When I started making the stairs for it, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to convert it into a dice tower. You could have 4 of these on each corner of the area if you wanted :)

I've just uploaded the first of the files for the latest Upgrade Set - HQ05 Brutal Legion. It's quite a large build so I wanted to get the first lot of files out so you could all get printing while I finish the rest of the build. Dungeon Diagonal Floor Updates

I've just updated all floors Essentials - Dungeon\Floors Diagonal

Just a small useability update. The updated floors now have the newer style clip hole - This has allowed me to adjust the positioning of the clip hole between the inner and outer tiles to be midway between each so that you can now use magnetic clips if wanted.

Terror In The Tundra Spells

I've just added a couple of small updates to -- 000 New Files --\Upgrade Set - HQ04 Terror in the Tundra containing some tunnel overlays and spell tokens for Terror In The Tundra.

Planning is done for the upcoming arena so will be staring the blocking in stage of the modelling for that tomorrow. It's going to be a fun update :)

Terror In The Tundra Throne Room

All the files and build guide are now up for the Terror In The Tundra Throne Room in -- 000 New Files --\Upgrade Set - HQ04 Terror in the Tundra

DUN Risers

Just added some new Dungeon risers to -- 000 New Files --\Essentials - Dungeon\Risers

These work by either starting off with a Tile or an Overlay piece (depending on if you want them sitting on top of existing tiles or not) then add the levels to add more height and finally your tile of choice on top.

Terror In The Tundra Throne Room stairs

I've just added the files -- 000 New Files --\Upgrade Set - HQ04 Terror in the Tundra\TT Throne Room Ice Stairs 

I had planned to use the existing icy river tiles with a climbable grate at the end up to the main room, but it wasn't really making sense. I spent a couple of days playing around with ideas and tweaking how the room overall would look and work and came up with an icy waterfall set of stairs for the heroes to climb.

Essentials - Underground Ice Pieces

I've just uploaded some new files to -- 000 New Files --\Essentials - Underground\Ice

I was building some tools for the Throne Room and thought they'd make some good individual tiles. As I'm working though the design of the Throne room it's turning out to be a bit of a larger project than I first thought :) Hopefully more epic looking.

Now I have most of the ice tools built with the individual tiles I'll start putting it all together for the main room :)

New Tokens and Dragon Drops

I've just added a full set of coin faces in various shapes and sizes along with some new potion bottles with measurement marks (so you can paint up to the amount of the stat to be restored) to -- 000 New Files --\Essentials - Tokens

There's also a couple of new Dragon Drop tiles with stairs down and a hinged version with grate as well as a pit trap!

Terror in the Tundra Frozen Crypt

Finally happy with how this is working. I had quite a bit of backwards and forwards getting an ice effect that I was happy with for the floors and cavern walls. I've designed them to work as standard walls and floor tiles so I can split them up to make individual pieces to go into the Underground Essentials set eventually.
