Added 2015-12-11 03:41:01 +0000 UTCHey all, just dropping some info for those who don't receive the Patreon creator newsletter. If you notice that my patron count (and earnings) on the front page drop a little, it isn't because people are leaving. Patreon recently made changes so that these numbers appear more accurate. Declined pledges, and fake patrons are no longer counted. That's a good thing! Additionally... while I've had a number of fake pledges (ie, patrons who pledge, cancel at the end of the month, and then pledge again to avoid being charged), I haven't removed these patrons from my page. Initially this bothered me a lot less than it does today. And while I once said that I wouldn't remove fake patrons... I now have accumulated quite a few of them who have been doing this to me for months... that hurts. So I think pretty soon patrons who have declined for more than a few months in a row will be removed. If you're one of these people, and you'd like to continue being my patron, please let your pledge go through to avoid this! For everyone else, thanks from the bottom of my heart for your support, and I hope you are having a wonderful December!
