My mom passed away.

It's taken me a week to even feel up to telling people about it but I think it's important that I do. This community means so much to me and it would pain me for people to think I was ignoring their messages or forgetting to provide content. I did already post to my Discord servers and now X but I understand some of you may not have seen. It feels unfair to post things without you knowing what's happening in my life, I don't know how to explain it and all I want to do right now is what I need to do to feel secure.
I don't know when I'll be okay again and for that I am sorry. What I do know is that I am a lot stronger than I thought I was. I expected my entire world to collapse under the grief but somehow that hasn't happened. The love and kindness I've been shown by my family, my friends, my community; it's given me a strength I didn't know existed. I want to be strong for all the people I care about, including this community, and I want to assure you that I'm not going anywhere. Audios are not going anywhere, there just might be some hiccups in the near future.
The next few weeks will be very hard. I don't even know when we'll be able to lay my mom to rest, it could be as late as the New Year due to the circumstances surrounding her passing. Even as I type this it doesn't feel real. The grief is overwhelming.
I thank you for the kindness, understanding and patience I already know you will afford me. I'm sorry for any delays or lateness with things. I am going to do my very best. Thank you for being the best community I've ever seen and for the strength you don't even realise you give me every day. 💖

Due to the whole... situation... we didn't have a funeral until last month. We just kind of kept putting it off, you know? And I will say that though some losses don't really get less painful with time, they do get recontextualized. I've reached a point where it feels good to miss him. You will, too.
