I don't really know why I'm writing this to be honest, I just wanted to share with you that I'm almost done with my first script that has been written without any kind of time pressure or deadline, in true old-Peaches fashion. The 'overstimulated listener at a party' script. I feel like I could cry. I feel like whatever has been blocking up my heart and creative thinking is clearing and they can finally work together again. :')
I've been asked a few times if my scripts are ever based on my real life experiences and what I've realised is that my best scripts are the ones where I've drawn from my real experiences. A lot of what has been put into this script is drawn from real life. I guess that's the best way for me to write, even if it makes me feel vulnerable sometimes to have my memories and experiences out there for everyone to see. My best writing comes from my heart.
2200 words so far and I'm still not finished. For reference, 1000 words is usually 10 minutes of audio so this will be a hearty, chonky, lovely audio. The kind that you deserve. Thank you for supporting me. I owe you all so much and I can't wait to write more now. <3

2024-11-22 04:45:20 +0000 UTCI'm so happy for you that you've been able to get past that writer's block. Using life experiences can feel difficult to share but can also be so cathartic. Sometimes putting it out there can give you the opportunity to just let go of it. I've recently gotten back into writing and I've found that creating stories not related to my own writing actually allows me to refocus. Can't wait to hear your work!!

2024-11-21 14:26:34 +0000 UTCI'm glad you are getting your creative energy back! I know anything that deals with being creative is hard to do for a job, because it seems like sometimes you have to force being creative. I've enjoyed your recent audios, and I'm really excited to hear this audio!

2024-11-21 13:46:52 +0000 UTCThey do say to write what you know. I know it can be difficult to put that out in the open, but I'm glad you're willing and that your spark is starting to return. Thank you and take care, Peaches. π

2024-11-21 12:56:17 +0000 UTCI'm happy to hear that your spark is starting to come back. I guess all that rest really paid off. I appreciate that you share a lot of your experiences in your audios, it strangely feels more intimate I think (not really sure what I mean tbh) and I'm glad you trust us with them. I look forward to this audio and I look forward to future content as always!β₯οΈ
