[Poll] Maybe it's time for a change?

I've had lots of time to read through comments, messages and feedback recently and one of the things that pops up consistently is that a lot of people don't have time to listen to audios as they come out and have a huge backlog to listen to OR that my content is cycled with other VA's content so it limits how many of my audios are listened to.
I always want to create content with my lovely listener's best intentions at heart. That being said, I think somewhere along the way I got lost feeling like I had to pump out audios constantly because it was expected and because maybe people wouldn't want to support me if I didn't keep up with posting as much as other VA's (which I can't afford as this is my livelihood right now.) I've leaned on script writers heavily this year because my creative spark has felt dull & used up and instead of taking a step back I've tried to keep up with my regular schedule. I'm still proud of what I've created but there's that niggling feeling that I could do so much better for you.
All this being said, I guess I've just been assuming what I thought everyone would want but it's best to ask you outright so I know what's best to do. When I first started making audios I used to put out maybe one audio every couple of weeks, pouring my soul into each one and crafting it just right, and I'd love to go back to that. Even if that means people might need to leave and this isn't a full time thing anymore. I just want to do what feels right for me and what's going to produce the kind of high quality content you deserve.
I just want to do my absolute best for you, whatever that means. Thank you for everything <3

If you’re feeling more compelled to take your time, and lovingly craft each and every second of each audio, I’m here for it. Though, if you feel it best for whatever reason, to continue at your current pace I don’t think anyone would mind 😁. I would worry about folks justifying their Patreon subscription if content slows too much. Maybe a happy medium? Maybe one lengthy, higher effort audio per month and one per week similar to what you post now? I don’t know if that’s even a viable workload for you. Your mental and physical health are most important ❤️

There’s something really special and uniquely you about the scripts you used to write, and I do miss that sometimes. That said, I feel that if the volume of content were to decrease significantly, I might need to reconsider whether continuing as a Patreon member is worthwhile for me. I really do love your content and appreciate all the hard work you put in. Please don’t feel pressured to change anything on my account—I just wanted to be honest about where I’m coming from as a supporter. Thank you so much for all of your awesome work.

2024-11-09 17:53:56 +0000 UTCConsidering the general consensus that the poll displays (so far) I think the best here and also in general is to go with what you feel best with. I think people who really love your content will continue to support you and if creating audios like this pressures you and burns out your creative spark, I think a change would be good for you. You feeling better, being able to take more time and having less pressure would also result in better quality of life for you (which is the most important), even better content quality (though lets face it, your quality already really is up there, but Im sure with more time to craft you’re capable of doing even better :3 ) and keeps you from ultimately burning out (which is something no one here wants). To summ this up, and as others mentioned, do what feels best for you and please take care. And if anything, we are here for you too and understand you ❤️

2024-11-09 17:05:26 +0000 UTCWhile I'm perfectly happy with the number of audios you make, it sounds like you are stressing yourself out trying to keep up with the schedule you've set for yourself. I'd much rather have fewer audios in a given month than have you burn yourself out.

I honestly look at it this way, I want you to continue with what works best for you, especially with all the issues you've been having. I love the new stories but I also love to listen to the older ones again as well. I hope my sentiments are shared by your other listeners when I say, I'm happy with you. I respect the effort you put forward, and as long as you're happy, I'm happy too!

(Peaches, you were the first ASMR VA that I listened too) I dont listen to EVERY audio as some of them just dont appeal to me. But in saying that I think you should take the time to really pour your heart and soul into your work. In my honest opinion I think like 1 every other week sounds reasonable. Id just hate to wait like 3 or 4 weeks before I get my next fix of Peachy goodness. At the end of the day we all just want you to do whats best for you Peaches. We cant enjoy your work if youre burned out and tired

It makes me happy to support you, just knowing you work that hard to create good audios for us. I personally feel like your audios are the most "worth it" when comparing to many other VAs, and it makes me happy to support you. Thanks as always for the amazing content. I think I'll be happy and continue supporting regardless, but I definitely wouldn't mind if you took it a bit easier. Whatever you need to do.

Yes it’s your job now but it should still be fun for you too to create stuff. And quality wise is your content on a very high level already, for me all of them are a great listen. 2024-11-09 16:38:22 +0000 UTCYour stuff is always good quality and I’m sure we’d all agree on here that you should pace yourself to avoid burnout, make sure you have time to enjoy yourself and be healthy too. Ultimately you know if you’re overexerting yourself and we will support you still if you want to slow down.

If less audios per month means better quality for every one, I'll always take that option. Just know that you haven't disappointed me yet and you never will. 😊💜

I haven't been disappointed by a single audio. So I'll stay listening and supporting as long as I am able to. Thank you for all the things you do!
