Yeah, we are trying to do way too much with this sequel.
We're going to go back to a mostly writing-based game with supporting artwork.
We should be able to get PI2 out by May of 2025 with 3 main story arcs. We'll keep many of the good mechanics from PI1, ditch the experimental mechanics that didn't work out, and keep it clean of errors and dead-ends.
I'm still open to doing a full 2d RPG with expansive pixel art but we'd need some substantial investment to do it correctly.
Tutorial level is nearly done, I expect the first story arc will be done by the end of the year and we'll put it up for early access shortly afterward.
