Good points were made regarding the VR concept

It was brought up multiple times that it would be disingenuous to switch to VR halfway through.  I think that's a good point.  So the project is going to 'stay the course' for now.  I never intended to make it full VR but I think I'll just put it on the backburner for the time being.

I’m glad you’ve changed your mind. I stand by what I said before, but for what it’s worth a parasite VR game does sound amazing, but it needs to be done right. With the money you make from this project and the PR it generates you can establish connections to get such a project underway with another passionate creator. Alternatively the sales this game inevitably generates can be used to finance a perhaps short VR experience involving parasites.

I am happy you decided to stay the course and finish your game, but dont give up on what you're interested in. When you get ahead just make a vr scene here or a demo there. Then when you're ready to try a vr project you have some more experience and can really dive in. Besides, most artists switch projects for a day or two to stay fresh, you should too. It's good for your health and to renew your creativity for the wonderful project you have here.

I think you have made the right decision (changing formats mid-game is never goiong to be popular), but I hope you comie back to VR with a new game in the near future.

Thank you

Thank you for staying the current course! I'd hate for you to resent your fanbase for stifling your creativity, but finishing the project you started before starting a new one shows us respect and gives you credibility. It gives us faith that we can trust you "with our money" in the future. I'm sorry VR was squashed, you seemed really genuinely excited about it, but I'm happy to see the current project completed first 💚

Don't usually go out of my way to comment but I just wanted to say I totally understand the struggle with what you see as a new creative direction and your current fans. You handled it really well, so kudos, and I think your fanbase will appreciate it.

I'm glad to hear you reconsidered on this. It's always nice when a creator listens to their supporters.

Maybe use the demo to shop around for a larger VR developer to buy in and produce it with you while you concentrate on the text base version.
