Some ideas (feedback requested)

I came up with a couple concepts and am looking for some feedback

- Changing birthing to be womb only, and having the werm infestation alter the gametes.

The infection is a lust disease that is caused by small single-celled organisms which are carried by the werm/choker/canal parasites. Currently it is capable of being transmitted through sex contact, fluids, and possibly the air.

When an infected male has sex with a normal female, the normal female becomes pregnant with a werm and gets infected. When a normal male has sex with an infected female, the infected female becomes pregnant with a werm and the male gets infected.

No more birthing werms from mouth or anal cavity.

When werms are birthed, they enter the anal cavity (which is where they are stored).

Choker eggs can still be hatched in mouth, vaginal, and anal cavities.

- Also, for the house part of the game, should I just do away with the arrow movement completely and have it be a list of clickable links?

Goddamn - this is really great. At first I was thinking "meh, I'll have to tell them how I nearly changed the game because of this post, that's how great it was" but the more I think about it the more some of this stuff makes sense. Also, having separate starfish/neck parasites doesn't make sense with the whole Antari military bioweapon project that the plot revolves around. Having the werms actually mutate into other forms - perhaps on their own, as an aberrant behavior - does make sense though. Thanks for posting this I think I'll try to incorporate it this weekend.

I have been working on adding keyboard shortcuts for movement and they currently require the arrows. I have w,a,s,d for vertical and horizontal, c for continue and just need to add q,e,z,x,r,f for diagonals and stairs. If you remove the arrow movement, then the keyboard movement would be a little less practical. Also, some passages in the ship have numbers to let you go through them faster.

I would second the above comments from lightningshifter. I had the exact same thoughts. I like the new concept, and Canals seem like a natural way to expand this concept.

Idk if the last update was suppose to but the pictures for the space ship portion of the first chapter had the text to the right of it and not below it and I thought that was pretty great and for the house part I prefer links the only time I use them are going to Jessica but that's since there are no links

I think perhaps the birthing from other orifices could come with canal upgrades maybe that add in extra womb-like capacity. That way you could adapt the new idea into the old concept. Also I just got done playing the company and didn't mind it surprisingly.

I don't mind the idea of changing up the Birthing of the Werms, but perhaps you could still allow birthing orally and anally but have the birth rate increased vaginally. The Idea of the Werms carrying a lust disease does make a good bit of sense with characters simply going into a lustful frenzy just by the pheromones of the Werms. I like the speech bubble idea and feel it's help bring a little more order to the sections with a lot of text. I would say the arrows can be a little annoying and tedious in the second part of the Spaceship. While being agonizingly annoying in the House and Mall section. I would suggest maybe making the map a click to enter/travel to thing instead. I found myself a not as immersed in the third part with the click word links to enter rooms. I feel that the map could paint a better picture of the area you're in. Regardless of whether this was helpful I think you're doing a great job and support your plans. (Unless they're wrong)

Changing the birthing to womb only would benefit the game, allowing for additional descriptions and stories. Mouth and anal births could be a result of having canals, giving canals the purpose of increasing birth rates late game. The different text organization looks good, seems like you were heading in that direction anyway with the colored text. Links would be great, it is a small mini game to get around the house right now. Ether way I always look forward to your updates, thanks for working on this!

The arrows are kind of annoying, really the only thing I ever found randomly in the house was the family having a threeway in the bathroom once.

For navigation you could perhaps implement mouse movement like some tile based games (e.g. Nethack) have: You click somewhere (else), the computer calculates or looks up the required moves and then proceeds to move the avatar until it reaches the target or an event happens which requires interaction. The rooms on the map would be the clickable 'tiles' in this case. Also this way the old thing with the arrows would be still valid and the deviants who want to can still use them. Anyway, a list of clickable links would much less effort.

Personally I like the idea of the character becoming a complete birthing factory through their main orifices like mouth n anal. gives the game some kink. dont mind storage in anus but removal of mouth breeding would be taking out a good chunk of the game imo.

It's certainly a very interesting proposition. - I wonder if instead of werms being birthed and moving around the body they could stay in the womb, with many werms causing visible bloating. I like the idea of "bubbling" the speech, it's worked very well in various games. It makes the colour and font changes that people have been using in TWINE and RAGS easier to read. Lastly, why not both links and arrows? We find in UI design that users often want more than one way to achieve the same thing, so having both arrows and links would help people who like either exclusively or are happy to switch between the movement styles as they play. Luv ya regardless :)

The arrows in the house only make sense if something can happen while you're between rooms (as on the spaceship where you can be overcome and forced to deal with it). That doesn't happen in the house, so there's no point to arrowing around.

I enjoy the idea of anal/oral birthing, I would think that the parasites would reproduce sexualy with one another through two infected hosts but not alter the hosts reproductive abilities so the host can continue propagating thir species, with the parasites controling the release of their gametes. The parasites should be capable of a much slower asexual reproduction.Having the parasites apropriate some host DNA would offer rational for sexual reproduction to occour between two infected host rather than between parasites of a singular host. Sex between an infected host and normal human could result in stored parasite eggs being deposited in the unifected person, thus infecting them.

So here are my thoughts: 1. The rationale for changing the birthing would be acceptable to me. It would slow things down a bit obviously and I'm not sure how that'll affect the flow of the game. 2. The speech changes are acceptable and I think would probably go a long way to prevent eyestrain from trying to make out differently colored text. 3. PLEASE get rid of the arrows. That's the most annoying part of this game is the arrows. Too much clicking. and if you're going to make a linked list, please have a direct click to the mom's room. Right now the link just takes you to the upstairs hallway and yous till have to arrow into the location.
