【For the people wondering what they are doing↓】
In Japan, there is a type of noodle called 「そうめん」(Soumen) .
It has a smooth and light texture. It is a popular summer food .
We cool it in ice water and dip it in dashi tsuyu. Very yummy :)
We also have an activity called 「流しそうめん」(nagasi-soumen,flowing noodles)
which we slide soumen in to water slides made out of bamboo, and eat from it.
It is a very popular activity in japan, children go crazy for it.
but recently, it is hard to find space for bamboo water slides , and it's even harder to keep bamboos in our house. Especially in crowded cities. So instead we use these kind of plastic water slides we can put on our desk and enjoy Nagasi-soumen with our family!
