Ask TWB Anything!

I've been quite busy recently, and haven't been able to post as much as I'd like here. So, since I feel I owe you very generous ladies and gents at least something, to steal a page from several other comics' playbooks, how about an AMA?

Address your question to the character you'd like to have answer, and I'll do up a single-panel response.

Feel free to ask anything, just keep in mind there are some things that might not get an answer, and depending on time and volume, I may not be able to answer every question anyway.

Alternately, if you don't have a question, how about a Scene You'd Like To See? (Can be canon or non, but again, just 'cause you ask doesn't mean I'm obligated to draw it. :D )

I'll try to do at least one response a day, as time and scheduling permit.

And as always, thank you!

Doc.

To Doc: your website warns that we will explode if we go swimming within 30minutes, what did you feed us?

Wandering Dragon

Doc, what is your favorite machine tool? Are you in the same camp as Maudslay, "the lathe is the king of tools"?

Rod Shampine

Doc does sell dead-tree copies of the comic.

Catsnightmare

to Doc, perhaps Roger: did you ever meet Wolf from Tigerknight's comics? He also likes to tinker and creating explosions :)

Sandy: What first attracted you to swampy, is it his haircut?

Zip file archives, in 300DPI of her webcomic, How to be a Werewolf, split by chapter, is what Shawn Lenore provides as a reward tier for her Patreons. Maybe Doc could consider similar for here. Each ZIP archive being the strips from one book.

Jenifur Charne

Involuntarily, on a weekly basis, probably. Shrapnel does that kind of thing.

My first post as a new user on the Doc's Patreon, is a question for Cara: Why do you drive a 1961-1963 VW Type 1 1200, as your regular car, but drove a 1971 VW Type 1 during your racing career? 1961-63 VW Type 1 1200. I was wondering if Doc has ever considered making the entire twb comic available for download in one zip file, a series of zip files, or something similar. I have seen a couple of webcomics that I loved disappear over the years. One was even complete, but the site went down, and I have not been able to find any copies since. Twb is so big that manually saving each strip would take forever. But having a local copy would be really nice.

Red Fox Homesteader

Roger - Is it true you had your nipples pierced?

Mark Trombley

Because some of the secondary characters need more attention, Dear Jake: Do you watch horror movies? Are jumpscares an issue for you, given your "history"?

Berserker88

Dear Doc: Have you considered weaponising... er... I mean commercialising your own brand of Dew?

Sturzkampf

To Doc and Roger: How did you to first meet?

Jason Hopkins

To Doc and Roger:

Jason Hopkins

Scene I like to see: A photograph of the ladies posing for the camera. Background; One of the people on the field is also a camera guy, and is taking action shots & team pictures. Think of it as something that would end up in a photo frame ;)
