I like listening to terrestrial radio. My vehicle is from 2001 though.

I don’t think the total solar eclipse (TSE) on April 8 will be as dark as some of the rogues think it will be. I viewed the 2017 TSE from rural Missouri and it got no darker than twilight. Jupiter was visible, but no stars. Whispy cirrus clouds probably interfered with the visibility of dimmer celestial objects, but even under clear skies I don’t think any but the brightest stars and planets are visible.

The one thing I have noticed with AI is those who work in the field seriously dismiss the dangers. Given that women have long suffered being victimized by deep fakes, I think it's going to take politicians and/or their families being attacking with deep fakes. It's not a problem until men are threatened. Ranking universities isn't about quality, it's about money, prestige and connection.

I predict that a total eclipse will be visible from Connecticut in 375 years. And that, on that day, it will be cloudy.

Omg! So good to hear Chris Smith. I love Naked Science podcast!
