Asymetra... That's always the claim, isn't it? The camera is going to eliminate the artist. Ultimately, it's just another tool that will be put to some use.

2023-04-11 05:16:49 +0000 UTCIn the AI debate, I would say the argument that AI will take away human creativity is garbage. The vast majority of people don't do anything creative. They already rely on movies, TV, books, and other creative mediums to supply imagination for them. Creators will continue to create. Consumers will continue to consume. AI friendships: that reminds me of Reginald Barclay in STNG that used the holodeck to recreate the crew of the Enterprise and lost his stutter when interacting with them.
