Why Ranked Choice Voting and not Proportional Representation like they have in other countries (I get this a lot.)? It would require fewer changes to state constitutions and the US Constitution.

The tribalism you were talking about before comes from having only two political parties that can win elections, and that is a direct result of plurality voting (largest number of votes win, even if below 50%.). What we need is a true multi party political system where you need to form coalitions with other parties to get things done instead of everyone either being in your party or the dreaded, evil, other party.
